About the Journal
 
“Medycyna Pracy”, published since 1950, is an organ of the Polish Society of Occupational Medicine. Since 1990 it is edited, published and distributed by Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź.

The journal publishes original papers, review papers and case studies in Polish and English. The subject matter of the articles includes occupational pathology, physical, chemical and biological agents at workplace, toxicology, mutagenesis, health policy, health management, health care, epidemiology, etc.

The magazine also includes reports from national and international scientific conferences on occupational medicine. It also contains letters to the editor. Each first-in-year issue of the magazine comprises former-year indices of authors and keywords.

The journal is indexed by, among others, CABI (CAB Abstracts, Global Health), CNKI Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO (Central & Eastern European Academic Source), Elsevier (EMBASE, EMCare, SCImago Journal & Country Rank, SCOPUS), Europe PubMed Central, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, J-Gate, Polish Medical Bibliography, ProQuest (Health and Medical Collection, Psychology Database), PubMed/MEDLINE, SHERPA/RoMEO, Thomson Reuters (BIOSIS Citation Index, BIOSIS Previews, Web of Science Core Collection, Journal Citation Reports, Science Citation Index Expanded), WorldCat.

“Medycyna Pracy” is published based on the open access model (OA).

The use of the articles is possible under the terms of the license CC BY-NC (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Poland). If an article is made available on another site (such as a medicine-related site), it is obligatory to provide the following information: author/authors, title of the article, name of the journal, year, volume, issue, range of pages, DOI number in the form of a link and name of the license together with a link to its description (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/pl/deed.en).

The editorial office recommends that the authors depositing their works in domain and institutional repositories should use the official published version of the article posted on the journal website: http://medpr.imp.lodz.pl/en.
